Guiding you towards healing and growth today.
Family Ties Christian Counseling exists to provide compassionate, Christ-centered counseling that fosters healing, hope, and wholeness for individuals, couples, and families. Through trauma-informed, attachment-based care grounded in Biblical truth, our mission is to help clients strengthen their relationships, deepen their understanding of themselves and God, and move toward lasting emotional, relational, and spiritual restoration.
For over 20 years, I have had the privilege of serving in ministry and counseling individuals, couples, and families through seasons of brokenness, healing, and growth. My work is rooted in the belief that no person is beyond the reach of God’s love and that healing can happen as we are met with both truth and grace.
I earned my Master of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School and my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina State University. My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and attentive, and I seek to offer care that is both Biblically rooted, clinically excellent, and spiritually fruitful.
I work with clients navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship issues, marital and premarital counseling, infidelity and betrayal recovery, divorce-related concerns, parenting support, life transitions, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, women’s issues, spirituality and faith integration, self-esteem, stress management, coping skills, and support for first responders.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and trauma-informed care, and I am Brainspotting Certified, a Certified First Responder Practitioner, and a Certified SYMBIS Facilitator. Romans 8:38–39 is a guiding Scripture in both my life and work, reminding us that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I provide telehealth counseling in PA, OH, TX, CO, and FL and count it an honor to walk alongside clients as they pursue healing, hope, and wholeness.

Our earliest and most formative experiences happen in relationship—first within our families, and then with other key people throughout our lives. These attachment relationships profoundly shape how we understand ourselves, how safe or worthy we feel, and how we engage with the world around us. In many ways, we are tied to these relationships—sometimes in ways that strengthen and empower us, and sometimes in ways that bind us with pain, confusion, or unmet needs.
Through our family ties and close relationships, we learn who we are. It is also through these same relationships that we may experience distress, disappointment, or emotional injury. Because most relational and emotional wounds occur in relationship, healing must also take place in relationship.
Family Ties Christian Counseling exists to provide a counseling space where healing and growth can occur within a safe, intentional, and empowering relationship. The therapeutic relationship becomes a place to explore attachment patterns, process pain, and experience new ways of relating that foster security, self-awareness, and resilience.
Grounded in Biblical values and informed by sound clinical practice, we believe counseling can be a redemptive space—one that honors both faith and psychological wisdom. In this environment, clients are encouraged to reflect, heal, and grow, gaining insight into how their past relationships have shaped them while developing healthier ways of connecting moving forward.
Our hope is that through compassionate, clinically informed, faith-centered care, individuals, couples, and families experience not only relief from distress, but meaningful transformation—leading to deeper connection, renewed hope, and greater freedom to live and love well.
